Nottinghamshire Ticketbank has been developed by Arnold Foodbank and Gedling Eye to offer individuals and families days out so they have something to look forward to despite financial hardship.
The anxiety associated with lack of money often causes isolation and a rapid deterioration in mental health. In turn, this can make it more difficult for foodbank users to get back on their feet.
Having something to look forward to, whether it’s a family day out at a local attraction or being able to join a friend at the cinema, can offer a huge mental health boost and help diminish those feelings of loneliness.
How it works
If you have a foodbank referral then you can apply for free tickets. You can see what event tickets are available HERE . If there is an event of interest listed then all you have to do is complete this form to apply. Please have your referral number to hand as you will need it to submit a request.
